June is almost over and July is about to fade in, which means we will give people the chance to become a July Journalist! 

Guiding a blog is pretty hard, yet a beautiful way to show off your passionate writing skills, which can be improved by it. Of course you'll get something in return, like

• A feather for your Chobot
• A Journalist Badge, along with a playercard skin
• Your blog will be added to the official blogroll
• Having a chance to write your own blog post for the main blog

If you have a blog and want to become a Journalist, you shouldn't hesitate to leave a comment on the official blog post.

Contest Results + Design Contest!

Hey fairies!

After few days of tough playing Pinball in the Game Zone for the 1st place, the contest came to an end. It's indeed impressing at how much points the three winners got, in my opinion it's pretty hard to get comfortable with the shortcuts. ANYWAY~, let's announce the three lucky winners:

• 1st Place: Oreo.
  You win 7 days of citizenship and 5,000 bugs. 
• 2nd Place: Jesse.
  You win 5 days of citizenship and 3,500 bugs.
• 3rd Place: Fearlesseph.
  You win 3 days of citizenship and 2,000 bugs.

I guess you three are enjoying your prices, don't you?

I haven't joined a design contest since .net! (Did you know I designed the Gingerbread magic? :P)

I'll put the orignal written guidelines and conditions from the blog here:

•     You may design any item of clothing: hair, shirts, trousers, shoes, accessories - you name it!
•     Your design can be hand-drawn on paper or done digitally. If you are experienced with Adobe Flash, please use this template.
•     You are not required to illustrate your design from all perspectives! 
•     You must enter your submission in the comment section of this post, not elsewhere. Please only provide an imgur link. 
•     Go wild with your imagination as we will be evaluating your creativity, uniqueness, and effort!
•     You may submit multiple entries if you wish to - in fact, it is encouraged
•     Please try not to include innuendos. 

This design contest will end on 25th June.

Summer Events

Hey my fairies!

There are still 4 weeks left till Summer vacation for me, wohoo! How about you?
Talking about summer, have you heard about the exciting news?
Since more user will come online, the Team decited to host some awesome mini events!



If you worry about the time zones - don't! The Chotopia Team thoughtfully chose the time, so everyone can join. You should at least be able to visit one of these events, because these will go on for 3 months! There will be a lot of magic, music, prizes and entertaiment!

Hints about times, locations, and/or any other information may be given out here on the main blog, in-game, or on the forum!

Hope you'll have a great time there!

Game Night review and Checkers Contest winners!

Hey fairies!

Hope you all had  great weekend! We had a wonderful party yesterday, didn't we? Don't be sad if you weren't there, I took some photos for you, so you can imagine how it was:

That was indeed an incredible Game Night. 'Hope I see you on the next one, too!

Now, let's come to the Checkers Contest.
A week ago, some people had fun with playing Checkers, so the Team officially disclosed the competition! Unfortunately, the contest came to an end. Please congratulate the following winners:

New Journalists + creative Forum Contest!

Hey guys!

About a week ago, the Chotopia Team was looking for new Journalists, and well, the results got announced:

• Me: Thanks for choosing me, I feel honored to blog for everyone and to wear that Feather/Badge. <3

• Realm: I really like the colours you used! The whole template is practically mirroring my view from Chotopia, good job!

• Shattered: I love the concept and the plain yet colorful design. I can see the creativity in your posts and how much effort you put into them, keep it up!

• Bebot: I love how you used only green color levels and how much effort you can put into your blog header and posts - just like Shattered, good job!

The winners will recieve a feather, a playercard + J-Badge and 14 days of citizenship!

Robots Upgrade, Reputation and 3 new contests!

Playing Robots is fun, but wouldn't it be cooler to have new features for it?

So, the Chotopia Team deleted all robots and teams, including the equiptment you owned for it. Don't be surprised, we all know that this game literally 'died', since no one actually plays it anymore...
To compensate your - I guess - slightly saddened feeling, the Team has given every one of you 10,000 Bugs for free!

Shadow also added some new things to Chotopia:

• A Team page for a new Robots Team (click here) 

 

Here you can donate bugs to your team, change you team name, view up-to-date stats, have YOUR own team rules, use donations from your members to purchase upgrades and use the Obtain Robot Upgrade (which expires every 2 days unless you return to update).
(Updates/team rules can only be set by leader!)
(STAFF MEMBERS WON'T BE DONATING, AND WILL BE PLAYING ROBOTS FAIRLY!) 

• Everyone can start again
• Maximal 8 Chotopians can join

They also added special amor and items if you didn't notice it:

1. Robots

The best 5 Teams will recieve 1 month citizenship to 14 days, 20,000 to 10,000 bugs and a special item.

 This contest end on 11th June

2. The top 3 Robot Teams will earn Treasury funds for their team, bugs and of course citizenship

Last one, 3. Nicho contest!
This contest also ends on 11th June, and all you have to do is

1. Picking up bugs on the ground (0,5 pionts)
2. Pulling the rope (1.0 Points)
3. Recieving the Nicho Mask (1.0 Points)
